Exciting Night @ the Warehouse

Hey guys…gotta type fast…I am sitting in the airport in Bham..but wanted to let you know…that this Wed @ the Warehouse..we are doing our first ever Costume Party…It will be fun…free food..cash prizes for best costumes…be creative…I did set a few rules…USE YOUR BRAIN!!!This is church…
Do NOT..and I repeat…Do NOT come dressed like a hootchie momma or daddy!!…if you do, you will be met in the parking lot and ask to leave!!..ok…now that that is out of the way!!!

Don’t miss it..invite your friends!!
It is going to be a night of Surprises..I am so excited that I can’t hardly type this blog…

Ok…got to go get on my plane..well US Air’s plane!!HA one day

Just saying hey

Hey yall,
Man, we have had some cool stuff going on with Uturn! We just had our Bak2skool Bash…which was a HIT!! Then followed that up with Josh Wilson in concert…which will be back again soon we hope…This past Friday, we fed South Lenoir’s football team with our 4th & Goal outreach…BTW Pray for us with that, we are trying to reach all the football teams in the county! That went well for us last year…and We are VERY excited about it this year! I have a meeting this week, about plans for Winterfest!! And we are already planning “Ladies Night” in Feb..so we are STOKED!!
I am sitting in the Bham airport right now typing this…its been a good weekend…but I am ready to see my Baby and my babies!! ok,
I am about to get left here…they are getting on the plane right now…

Do want to give a shout out…
I think we have the Best leaders in all the world @ the Warehouse…you guys ROCK!!! Thank you soo much…
Thank you to our band, and our welcoming staff…yes you know who you are!!

I love you guys…and I am praying for you today!
I hope you have a GREAT day…No matter when you may read this!

Hey yall…you got to pray for me..I have started back doing my college stuff online!!!! YIKES!!…but its really going well…i completed another course while on this long trip we have been on…it was “Ethincs in Crime and Justice”..it was kinda cool..
The next one I am NOT looking forward to…its another college math class..oh well…
I gotta get an A in these next 2…I wanna bring my GPA up…its at 3.46 right now i think…soo, all those that new me in High School..should be PROUD!!
well…alright yall
gotta go get on a plane…its been 12 days since i have seen my family!!! I can’t wait…

Hey guys, just letting you know…I just signed up to do Twitter tonight…I don’t have a pic yet but I am trying…I think this will be reallly cool! that way I can keep up with you guys while I am on the road!…Give me some time to figure it out…BTW don’t forget we have that river trip coming up April 15…its a Wed night..and it is co-ed this time! Good food and lots of fun!

Gobble Gobble

Well…

Happy Thanksgiving!  I love some Turkey Day!  Tomorrow we will have a house full of people, fellowshipping and STUFFING their GUTS till they can’t even move, then lie on a couch or in a chair completly miserable, take a nap and do it all over again an hour and a half later!!  MAN LIFE IS GOOD!!!

I think I will run in the morning just so, I can eat till I get that “Oh my I am about to PUKE feeling”

So…tomorrow..as you are stuffing your faces…take time to thank the people you are with…just for being Who they are!  But most of all don’t forget to thank God…because HE is the reason we have what we have, and can do what we do!

Just a note from me

Hey everyone,

As I write this, I do it with an Excited but somewhat Heavy heart…

WE have some great things in store for you all @ the Warehouse coming up real soon!  we have just finalized a band for Ladies Night, in Feb…it will be Feb 18th,,all the other stuff is being locked in soon..as far as food and other stuff…AND yes..we will have SHIRTS..you guys go nuts over free tshirts!

There will be a Super Bowl Party Sunday night…Feb 1st…we will give you more on that real soon!

Something I want you guys to be in prayer about for me is…

As I write this, I am sitting in a hospital room in Valdosta GA with my mom, she has been here, almost 2 weeks…They are not sure what is really wrong, she has just been real sick!  They did put a stent in her kidney to help with an infection…and have to go in and blast a stone in a couple of weeks…but they can’t figure out why her fever keeps going up and why she keeps getting sick..  They have order another CT scan for today…

So Please be in prayer for her..

I kind of freaked her out this morning, she thought I was driving home, and I walked in her room and surprised her!

I am more than likely heading  back toward the house tonight, so say a little prayer for me, as I travel tonight! 

I love you all, and thank you for your prayers while I am away,,

If nothing changes, I will see you all Wed, to continue our Series on Difficult People!  This week we are talking about Overly Needy People!

We got some stuff going on!!!

Man, I am excited!!!!  As I write this, I can’t hardly contain it…Last night was just AMAZING!!  God really showed up…and that is what its all about.. The band rocked it…you guys sounded great..don’t forget to work on that song for 2 weeks from now..

Crowdbreaker was fun..BTW if you have some crowdbreaker ideas…let me know…or just ones we have done before, and you liked them…let me know!

Well, it is finally here…yep the site is done..we are still doing some changes to it BUT IT IS DONE so go and check it out www.uturnstuff.org we will also soon have .com too!  But tell your friends, we are also in the process of getting info in your hands to help us advertise…don’t worry it will be cool, you won’t feel like a dork! 

Attendance last night was really good for sports season…if you guys will keep inviting people we will have to get more chairs, which is a GREAT problem!

I did want to let you in on the fact you guys really gave some good offerings to help the Memory Walk..Thank you for that!  and for buying the tickets!

Well, that is all for now, I have to go and get on a plane and head to Hotlanta…(atlanta)

I love you guys, and will miss you..I will not be there this wed, but PC will…so don’t miss it…i will know if you are not there!!!!

going on’s….

SUP EVERYONE????

Hope this blog finds you doing well…right now I am in Kentucky @ the National Quartet Convention..we sang last night..and everything went really well!  We have some cool stuff going on this week…I just got back from the gym and thought I would just type my mind…

We have a release party today @ our booth @ 5pm for our new cd that is coming out…that will be cool…you will have to hear it…it is rockin!  We really have some cool stuff on this one!  tomorrow we do a radio breakfast showcase, and Friday and award show…and Celebrity Softball Game, Radio shows all day Sat…then sing that night…AND THEN>>>>>>>>>I AM HOME!!!!!!YIPPPPEEEEEEEEE

Can’t wait!

It is going to be great!  I miss you all so much when I am away…But we have some really exciting things coming up for you guys…we have been doing some outreach stuff this year too, we have already fed the Kinston High football team @ the Warehouse before a game…and in a couple of weeks…we will do South Lenoir! 

What I need from you is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Invite people…you guys have to do it!!  You know the Warehouse is a Rockin facility…with lots to do…Invite them!

They will love it!

well yall…(man..that yall was so southern!ha)
